    Mohawk knowledge-keeper, ceramicist, and raised beadwork artist, who uses traditional materials blended with contemporary elements and methods to create beautiful and meaningful representations of the interconnectedness of Indigenous culture, history, and life, sparking artistic dialogue throughout generations.

    Longhouse Labs Fellow ‘24 - ‘25

    IndigiQueer Anishinaabe Photographer originally from Couchiching First Nation located on Treaty #3 territory. They currently reside in so-called Kitchener located along the Grand River. Bangishimo is a community organizer, educator, and advocate.
